The Cthulhu (クトゥルー Kuturū) are a race of green-hooded beings who give mysterious advice to the player when approached. One of them also finds the body of Curly Brace after she loses her memory. They are apparently native to the island (according to the credits), and some seem to know Quote, recognizing him as a "soldier from the surface", with one even asking where his "blonde pal" is, referring to Curly Brace.
The name "Cthulhu" derives from a fictional creation[1] of the horror writer H.P. Lovecraft, who describes it as an apocalyptic being with a "cuttlefish head, dragon body, scaly wings [...] and a human caricature."
Whenever Quote approaches one, their eyes open, revealing them to be an eerie white color.

- Its Halloween costume resembles the real Cthulhu by the horror writer H.P. Lovecraft.
- Its Christmas costume is made to look like Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
- In Curly Story, Curly seems to believe there is only one Cthulhu. The credits however continue to refer to them in the plural.
