Overview
Sanctuary Time Attack is a Challenge mode. Like the other challenges, it must be unlocked and selected from the title screen in order to play. This mode is set in the Blood Stained Sanctuary, and includes an additional room at the beginning of the area.
Items
The room includes a Refill terminal, 2 Life Capsules (26 additional HP each), awesome music, and chests containing (From Left to Right):
The Sanctuary Time Attack Challenge allows Quote to have both the Nemisis and Blade at the same time, but the Polar Star and Spur weapons may not be used simultaneously. The Missle Launcher, Machine Gun and Snake weapons are not included.
The player starts out with the 290 Counter and the Booster v2.0, which is equipped automatically.
Access
To access the Sanctuary Time Attack Challenge, you must get the third and best ending, reqiuiring you to save Curly Brace with the Tow Rope, drain all the water out of her, feed her the Ma Pignon to restore her memory, defeat the Undead Core, complete the Blood Stained Sanctuary, and kill Ballos. You must also have the Iron Bond and the Booster v2.0 at this point in order to enter the Blood Stained Sanctuary. Once you have gotten the third ending, the Sanctuary Time Attack mode will be unlocked in the title screen under "Challenges".
